Victor Nyakauru is a mixed media visual artist based Harare, Victor attended the National Gallery of Zimbabwe Visual Art Studios for his art education from 2004-7. He has participated in many exhibitions in Zimbabwe and abroad, and won many awards at national and international levels including 2 NAMA awards, 2 PPC concrete awards, 2 national gallery outstanding awards, ILO outstanding mixed media work and the prestigious Robert Sterling Clark Fellowship for African Artists in Vermont, USA, 2011. In 2014 he was invited to participate in international sculpture symposium in Incheon (ISSII) in South Korea and in 2017 he participated in Hong Kong first Afrocentric exhibition in 2017. He is a former sculpture instructor at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe School of Visual Art and Design.
