I created this piece trying to make some sense of how I, and am sure many of us are feeling during this surreal time. Being confronted with new realities, refreshed anxieties, and general uncertainty for whatever comes next, has given me a sense of disconnectedness I have never felt before. These sculptures are meant to be held in both hands, as tools to ground, and meditate on. They are meant to help understand the duality of one’s anger but also the desire to soften, forgive, and live with openness. Hopefully allowing the user to experience both simultaneously, finding a sense of balance in the chaos of our current state.
